runny yolk

a technique in which the user causes the O piece to soften in order to pull off a "yankinery." runny yolk can often fix board states that would usually be considered suboptimal. wow! this technique was discovered by C4D4U, who is known for challenging the limits of modern tetris.

runny yolk requires strict control of the up and down arrows, even if they are not a part of your keybinds. the user will need to set their SDF to one below infinity -- this may seem like a disadvantage to some, but the uses of runny yolk far outweigh any inconveniences. after setting the SDF, one will carefully press the down arrow while adding sparse taps of the up arrow to soften the "yolk."
