ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
College of Engineering, Perumon was established in 2000 by the Cooperative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), established by the Govt. of Kerala. The college which is affiliated to the Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, offers five undergraduate programmes (ECE, EEE, ME, CSE and IT) and one M.Tech programme in Computer and Information Science. From the very beginning the college has had an enviable result record in the Degree Examinations conducted by CUSAT. The college is located at Perumon in Kollam district with the Ashtamudi Lake bordering it. The college is about 12km from the KSRTC bus station, Kollam and about 13km from the railway station, Kollam. The nearest airport is Trivandrum international airport, about 78km from the college.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
At present, the Department offers B. Tech. and M. Tech. Courses in the discipline of Computer Science and Information Technology. The faculty of the Department is highly qualified and is actively involved in quality teaching and research. The department has produced corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, managers since its inception. State-of –the –art facilities are available in the Labs to train the students capable of meeting the requirements of present and future.
AICT’19 is a National Conference on Advances in Information and Computing Technologies organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology, College of Engineering Perumon. The Conference is sponsored by TEQIP-II. The objectives of this conference are:
- To bring together academicians, researchers and industry practitioners to exchange and share experience and research results in various aspects of Computer Sciences and Information Technology. It also provides a platform for discovering new ideas and build networking among researchers, practitioners and educators.
- To provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to share ideas of Computer Sciences and Information Technology and research experiences.
Authors across the globe are invited to submit their research proposal/papers which are not simultaneously under consideration with any other journal or conference. AICT'19 will be held on March 28-29, 2019 in Kollam District, Kerala state in India. The venue is College of Engineering Perumon which is a government controlled self financed engineering college affiliated to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University.
