Research Interest Description:
I am deeply interested in biomaterials and stem cell-based therapeutics. During the integrated M.S.-Ph.D. program at KAIST, I focused on developing synthetic polymer-based 3D culture platforms for stem cells. Currently, my research centers on utilizing 3D mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) spheroids generated on synthetic polymer matrices for the treatment of various inflammatory diseases. My ultimate goal is to establish therapeutic strategies that leverage MSC spheroids to achieve superior therapeutic efficacy compared to conventional MSC-based therapies.
