The workshop on AI for Financial Crime Fight (AI4FCF) is a place where the cutting-edge worlds of artificial intelligence and anti-financial crime efforts converge. This event will bring together researchers and practitioners passionate about leveraging AI to combat financial crimes. We invite submissions of original research to push the boundaries of AI applications in detecting, understanding, and preventing financial crimes. With an emphasis on innovation and practical solutions, this workshop is a premier platform for sharing the latest advancements and challenges in the field.
Financial crimes, including fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing, harm the trustworthiness of financial systems, threaten the stability of global economies, and can severely impact many countries. Using AI in this fight is not just helpful; it changes the game. AI can process huge amounts of data quickly, spot complex patterns, and identify potential risks before they have a meaningful impact. This represents a huge leap forward in preventing financial crime. Such technology not only makes detection and prevention more efficient and effective but also aims to keep up with the evolving tactics of criminals.
The workshop is sponsored by the AFC Digital Hub.
AFC Digital Hub (Anti Financial Crime Digital Hub) is a consortium for the fight against financial crimes by the means of Innovation (new technologies and artificial intelligence) and Cooperation (between Science, Technology and Enterprise), with the ambition to become a national and international point of reference in the fight against money laundering. AFC Digital Hub has Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, the University of Turin, the Polytechnic University of Turin, and CENTAI as founding members and is open to other credit institutions and system intermediaries.
