Welcome to AI Reminder and any localized names under which it is distributed (the "App"). Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the App.
These Terms of Use are provided as a practical draft. Before publishing, you should confirm the developer name, contact information, subscription details, supported markets, and legal jurisdiction. You may also wish to have the final version reviewed by a qualified legal professional.
1. Service Description
The App helps users create reminders and to-do items with AI assistance. You may type reminder text or use your microphone for speech recognition. The App may send the entered or speech-recognized text, together with relevant time, language, and time zone context, to the AI service provider you choose or configure in order to parse reminder details.
The App may help identify a task, event time, alarm time, and reminder message. AI parsing, speech recognition, and date/time interpretation may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or contextually incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing reminder details before saving them.
The App is intended for general personal productivity and reminder assistance only. Do not rely on the App as the sole tool for medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety-critical, or other high-stakes reminders. For important matters, you should use additional confirmation methods and seek qualified professional assistance where appropriate.
2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities
You must use the App in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms of Use. If you are under the legal age of majority in your location, you should use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Enter, generate, store, or transmit hateful, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, illegal, or harmful content.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse engineer, abuse, or gain unauthorized access to the App, related services, or third-party services.
- Use automated means to make excessive requests, resell, rent, sublicense, or commercialize the App or its services without our prior written permission.
- Upload or enter personal data, confidential information, or protected content that you do not have the right to process.
You are responsible for the content you enter, speak, store, or act upon through the App, and for any consequences arising from reminders, alarm times, AI-parsed results, or notifications.
3. AI Services, Third-Party Services, and API Keys
The App may support OpenAI, Google Gemini, or other AI API services configured by you. To provide AI reminder parsing, the App may send your entered text, speech-recognized text, language settings, time zone information, and related request content to the AI service you choose.
If you configure your own API key, API URL, model, or AI service provider in the App, you are responsible for reviewing and complying with that third-party service's terms, privacy policy, fees, usage limits, and data handling practices. You are also responsible for protecting your API key and for any consequences arising from its use, leakage, incorrect configuration, or third-party service charges.
Third-party services may change, suspend, limit, or terminate their services at any time. We do not guarantee that any third-party AI service, speech recognition service, platform notification service, or payment service will always be available, accurate, or error-free.
4. Reminders, Alarms, Notifications, and Device Behavior
The App may create and store reminders, to-do items, alarm times, snooze settings, and reminder sound settings on your device. The App may request permissions such as microphone, notifications, alarms, foreground service, vibration, wake lock, or related system permissions in order to provide voice input and reminder notifications.
Reminder delivery may depend on your device, operating system version, notification settings, battery settings, network state, permission status, time zone settings, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that every notification, alarm, or reminder will be delivered exactly on time or in every circumstance.
You are responsible for confirming that important reminders are saved correctly and for maintaining backup reminder methods for time-sensitive or critical tasks.
5. Free Features, Paid Features, Free Trials, and Subscriptions
The App may offer free features, paid features, free trials, subscription plans, or one-time purchase items. Available plans, prices, trial periods, renewal periods, and included features are shown in the App, Apple App Store, or Google Play checkout page at the time of purchase.
If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, the subscription will automatically renew according to the billing cycle shown at purchase unless you cancel it. Subscription fees are charged through the platform account used for purchase, such as Apple App Store or Google Play.
If a free trial is offered, such as a 7-day free trial, the trial may automatically convert into a paid subscription after the trial period ends unless you cancel before the end of the trial according to the applicable platform rules. Please review the price, trial period, renewal cycle, and cancellation method before starting a trial or making a purchase.
Premium features may include AI voice and text parsing, natural-language reminder creation, or other paid features shown in the App. We may modify the exact set of free and paid features from time to time, subject to applicable platform rules.
6. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds
If you purchased a subscription through Apple App Store, you can view, change, or cancel it through your Apple ID subscription settings. If you purchased a subscription through Google Play, you can view, change, or cancel it through Google Play's subscription management tools.
Deleting the App usually does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription through the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play subscription management process.
After cancellation, you will usually continue to have access to paid subscription features until the end of the current paid billing period. Refunds, billing disputes, failed payments, price changes, and subscription management are handled according to the policies of the platform through which you purchased the subscription. We cannot guarantee that we can directly cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google on your behalf, and we cannot guarantee refund outcomes.
7. Privacy and Data

By using the App, you understand that certain data may be processed by your device, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, the AI service provider you choose, speech recognition services, or other necessary service providers in order to provide reminder creation, speech recognition, AI parsing, notifications, subscription verification, and other App features.
Please do not enter sensitive information, confidential information, medical information, legal information, financial information, government identifiers, passwords, or legally protected data into the App if you do not want that information to be sent to third-party services or processed for AI reminder parsing.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, interface, design, code, trademarks, icons, text, images, and other content are owned by us or our licensors unless otherwise stated. These Terms of Use do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes.
You retain any rights you have in the content you enter into the App. However, you authorize the App and necessary third-party services to process that content to the extent required to provide reminder creation, speech recognition, AI parsing, subscription verification, troubleshooting, and security maintenance.
9. Service Changes, Interruptions, and Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue some or all features of the App at any time, including free features, paid features, AI service options, reminder behavior, prices, plans, or support methods.
If you violate these Terms of Use, misuse the App, create security or legal risks, or if we are required to act by law, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your right to use the App.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, completely secure, or that AI-parsed reminder results, speech recognition results, alarm times, notifications, or generated messages will always be accurate, complete, timely, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by:
- Speech recognition errors, AI-generated content errors, date/time parsing errors, or contextual misunderstandings.
- Missed, delayed, duplicated, incorrect, or unavailable reminders, alarms, or notifications.
- Decisions or actions you take based on reminder results or notifications.
- Third-party AI services, speech recognition services, platform payment services, notification services, network services, operating systems, or device issues.
- Disputes or legal responsibility arising from content you enter, store, process, or act upon.
- Subscription, payment, refund, cancellation, or platform account issues.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential damages, data loss, business loss, loss of profits, missed events, missed deadlines, or reputational harm arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you will be limited to the amount you actually paid for the App during the twelve months before the dispute arose. If you did not pay any amount, our total liability will be limited to USD 30 or the equivalent amount in your local currency.
12. Apple App Store and Google Play Additional Terms
If you download or purchase the App through Apple App Store, you may also be subject to Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, Apple App Store rules, and Apple's subscription and refund policies.
If you download or purchase the App through Google Play, you may also be subject to Google Play Terms of Service, Google Play payment policies, subscription policies, and refund policies.
If these Terms of Use conflict with applicable Apple or Google rules regarding platform payments, subscription management, refunds, or store distribution, the applicable platform rules may control those matters.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page and will be effective as of the date shown above. If changes are material, we may notify you in the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the updated terms become effective means that you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms of Use or the App will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court will have jurisdiction as the court of first instance, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
