AI Reminder Pro collects only the data you voluntarily enter:
Name, city, email address, phone number — entered on the Profile screen. Stored locally on your device only.
Six optional features send limited data to external APIs — voice transcription, receipt scanning, clinic address lookup, store categorization, birthday and anniversary scanning, and medicine label scanning. Each is described in the Third-Party Services section below.
Reminders — all reminder data (titles, dates, times, notes) is stored locally on your device only. Never transmitted to any server.
All app data is stored exclusively on your device using iOS local storage (AsyncStorage). We do not operate any servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data.
AI Reminder Pro uses third-party services for specific optional features. All are opt-in — the app works without any of them. No account information, health information, or reminder content is sent beyond what's described below.
The app sends data to Anthropic's Claude API for four features. Anthropic does not use API data to train its AI models. Anthropic retains API inputs for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety purposes, then deletes them. (See https://www.anthropic.com/privacy)
For grocery receipt scanning, the photo you provide is sent to Anthropic Claude (Haiku model) to extract item names and prices. The app does not store the photo after scanning. This is opt-in — activated only when you tap the Scan Receipt button.
Doctor visit address lookup.
For doctor visit reminders, the doctor's name and city you speak are sent to Anthropic Claude (Sonnet model) to identify the medical practice. The institution name is then sent to Google Places API to retrieve the address and phone number. No other personal data is included. You can skip this on any reminder and enter the address manually.
For store categorization, your store names (for example, "Walmart" or "Classic Cleaners") are sent to Anthropic Claude (Sonnet model) to assign a category — Grocery, Electronics, Services, or Misc. No personal data is included. You can change any category at any time by long-pressing the store name.
Birthday and anniversary scanning.
When you scan a birthday or anniversary list (for example, a WhatsApp screenshot or handwritten list), the photo is sent to Anthropic Claude (Haiku Vision model) to extract names and dates. The app does not store the photo after scanning. This is opt-in — activated only when you tap the Scan Birthday List button.
When you scan a prescription label, the photo is sent to Anthropic Claude (Sonnet Vision model) to extract medication name, dosage, refill date, and instructions. The app does not store the photo after scanning. This is opt-in — activated only when you tap the Scan Label button in Medicine Reminders.
Groq Whisper API (Voice Input)
When you tap the microphone to speak a reminder, your voice recording is sent to Groq's Whisper API to convert speech to text. This happens only when you tap the microphone button — entirely opt-in.
- Audio is not stored after transcription
- Groq does not use your audio for model training (per Groq Services Agreement)
- This feature is optional — you can type reminders manually
Google Calendar (Coming Soon)
Google Calendar sync is planned for a future version of AI Reminder Pro. This feature is not currently active. When it does ship, it will allow optional sync of your reminder titles and scheduled times to your own Google Calendar. No calendar data is accessed or transmitted at this time.
The app may request the following permissions:
- Microphone — to record your voice when creating reminders
- Notifications — to deliver reminders at the scheduled time
- Camera / Photo Library — only when you use the Scan Receipt, Scan Birthday List, or Scan Label features
- Calendar — only if you enable Google Calendar Sync in Settings
You can revoke any permission at any time in iPhone Settings → AI Reminder Pro.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
