This Privacy Policy explains how AI Home Decor ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the App on iOS. It applies only to the AI Home Decor app and the services it connects to.
When you take a photo with the camera or pick one from your photo library, that image is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our processing servers so the AI model can generate a redesigned version of the room. We use the image only to produce your result and to run automated safety screening. We do not use your photos to train models, and we do not sell them or show them to other users.
The App also screens images on your device before upload to block sexual or explicit content. That screening runs entirely offline; nothing is sent anywhere as part of it.
If you dictate a message to the design assistant, the App uses the microphone and Apple's Speech Recognition to convert your speech into text. Audio handling in that feature is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We store only the resulting text of your request.
Messages you send to the in-app design assistant are transmitted to our servers to generate a reply, and are screened automatically against prohibited content. Do not put personal details you would not want processed into these messages — we do not need them to redesign a room.
If you allow notifications, the App registers with our reminder service so we can send you Live Activity reminders (for example, about free designs you have not used). That registration sends:
an install identifier — a random ID we generate on your device, not supplied by Apple and not linked to your identity;
the Apple push token for this installation;
your time zone and country, so reminders arrive at a sensible local hour;
whether your subscription is active, so paying users are not sent upgrade reminders.
The install identifier is stored in your device's Keychain and therefore persists if you delete and reinstall the App. We keep it that way so a reinstall does not create a duplicate device record or send you the same reminder twice. To clear it, turn off notifications for AI Home Decor in iOS Settings and contact us — we will delete the device record associated with it.
We collect app-usage events (screens viewed, features used, purchases started or completed) and crash reports, so we can fix defects and understand which features people actually use. This data is tied to a random app instance identifier, not to your name.
The free version of the App shows ads. If you grant permission on the App Tracking Transparency prompt, our advertising partners may use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to select and measure ads. If you decline, we do not track you across apps and websites; you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your name, address, phone number or date of birth.
Your payment card details. Subscriptions are billed by Apple; we receive only whether a subscription is active.
Your precise location.
Your contacts, calendars, health data or messages.
We do not sell your photos, your designs or the content of your messages, and we never exchange personal information for money. We share the minimum necessary with the processors below, each under its own privacy policy:
One clarification for California residents: if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier we pass to the ad networks below is used for cross-context behavioural advertising. Under the CCPA/CPRA that counts as “sharing” personal information, even though no money changes hands and no other category of your data is involved. Declining the tracking prompt, or turning tracking off in iOS Settings, opts you out of it entirely — that is our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism, and it applies to everyone, in every country.

Uploaded photos and generated designs — kept only as long as needed to return your result, then deleted from our servers within 30 days.
Designs saved to your device — stay on your device until you delete them. Deleting the App removes them.
Messages to the design assistant — kept only as long as needed to produce a reply and to investigate abuse, then deleted within 30 days.
Install identifier and push token — kept while the App is installed and notifications are on. The token is discarded once Apple reports it as no longer valid; the device record is deleted on request.
Analytics and crash data — retained for up to 14 months, then deleted or aggregated.
Stop ad tracking — decline the tracking prompt, or turn it off in iOS Settings at any time.
Revoke camera, photo or microphone access — iOS Settings → AI Home Decor.
Stop reminders — turn off notifications in iOS Settings → AI Home Decor → Notifications. We then stop sending, and you can ask us to delete the device record entirely.
Delete your data — email us and we will delete the data associated with your app instance. Deleting the App also stops all further collection.
Manage or cancel a subscription — iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a US state with a privacy statute, you may also have the right to access, correct, or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us and we will respond within the period your law requires.
AI Home Decor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data in transit is protected with TLS. Requests to our processing server are verified with Apple's App Attest so that only genuine installations of the App can use it. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect precisely so that there is little to lose.
Our processing servers and our providers operate in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, notify you inside the App.
