We invite you to submit your full papers to the AI-HCSST 2026 Conference. Submissions should align with the conference's theme and focus on human-centered smart systems and technologies. Please follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth submission process:
1. Prepare Your Manuscript: Papers must be formatted according to the submission guidelines.
2. Create or Access Your Account: Visit Microsoft CMT portal through the provided link. Log in/sign up to begin the submission process.
Note: Please enter the names and affiliations of all authors in the exact order they should appear on the certificate in Microsoft CMT during submission; no further changes will be allowed.
3. Complete the Submission Form:
Fill out the required fields, including title, abstract, keywords, and author details.
Upload your prepared manuscript in PDF format (if accepted, MS Word/LaTeX file will be asked to be submitted). Additional supplementary files or data can be uploaded if relevant.
4. Select Your Track and Category: Indicate the appropriate track for your paper. Selecting the correct track will help ensure that your paper is reviewed by the most relevant experts.
5. Review and Submit: Carefully review all information before submitting. Once submitted, modifications are not permitted.
6. Confirmation: After submission, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder or contact us at hcsst@iiitm.ac.in.

An expert panel will review submissions, and authors will be notified of their paper’s status by the announced deadline. We look forward to your contributions.
Submission Guidelines for Full Paper
Papers must be original and previously unpublished, reflecting the conference theme.
The paper length should be up to 8 pages, including figures, tables, and references.
Use the following sections (additional subsections as needed):
Introduction
Main Body (Sections and Subsections as applicable)
Conclusion
Acknowledgements (if any)
References
The paper should adhere to the following structure and formatting guidelines:
All submissions must include a structured abstract of up to 200 words.
The document should be formatted on A4-sized paper using Times New Roman (or Times) font, size 12, with 1.15 line spacing.
Referencing Style:
Follow Chicago Manual of Style (16th Edition).
Examples:
Book: Woods, D. D., and E. Hollnagel. 2012. Joint cognitive systems. Boca Raton: CRC Press.
Journal: Terborgh, J. 2009. Preservation of natural diversity. BioScience 24:715-22.
Electronic Journal: Include the full URL and access date.
In-text citations: (Woods and Hollnagel 2012)
For more than six authors: use "et al." after the first three in the reference list; "FirstAuthor et al." in-text.
We strongly encourage authors to ensure their work is original and that all references are properly cited in accordance with ethical publishing standards. Additionally, authors are responsible for writing their papers in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English while adhering to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All submitted papers will undergo a plagiarism check, and the similarity index must be less than 15% (including AI-generated text) to be considered for review/publication. If the similarity index is found to be greater than 15%, it will not be considered for proceedings and can be rejected at any stage.

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers in PDF format using Microsoft CMT link given below.
Note: The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Conference Proceedings
All the accepted and presented papers will be published in CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) conference proceedings, provided they meet the required publishing standards.
At least one author should register before February 28, 2026, for the inclusion of the paper in the proceedings.
