Preface & Scope
AI Defender (“App”) is developed and managed by AIMobile (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Statement explains how we obtain, handle, store, share, and safeguard information when you install, access, or otherwise interact with AI Defender on any supported platform or device. By using the App you confirm that you have read and accepted the practices described below. If any part of this Statement is unacceptable to you, please discontinue use immediately.
For individuals protected by the GDPR or similar statutes, AIMobile acts as the data controller.
Information We Receive
2.1 Data You Voluntarily Provide
• Photo & Video Access – AI Defender’s primary purpose is to detect duplicate or low-quality media. To accomplish this, the App must read your local gallery. All scanning and comparison operations occur **strictly on-device**; no image, clip, or metadata is uploaded to AIMobile or any external server.
• Contact Data – Should you email our support desk, we collect the email address you write plus any other information you provide in your correspondence to assist you with your inquiry.
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
Whenever you interact with our App, we—along with the carefully vetted third-party partners who assist us—automatically gather certain details that let us recognize how the App is being used, present advertisements that are more pertinent to your interests, and continually refine the overall service experience. These automatically collected details are ordinarily of a non-personal nature; that is, they generally do not, by themselves, enable us to identify you personally.
• Device Fingerprint – model, OS version, language, screen size, IP address, time zone, and a randomly generated installation ID.
• Usage Metrics – feature taps, session length, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
• Advertising Identifiers – Apple’s IDFA or other similar identifiers may be accessed in order to present interest-based ads. You can disable or reset these identifiers at any time in your device settings.
• Approximate Location – derived from IP address only; we never request GPS coordinates.
2.3 Payment Data
All premium upgrades are transacted through Apple App Store. AIMobile does not collect card numbers, billing addresses, or any other financial details; such data is governed solely by the respective store’s policies.
Purposes of Processing
We use the information above to:
a) deliver core functionality (duplicate detection, cache clearing, battery optimization);
b) diagnose bugs and improve stability;
c) measure marketing campaign effectiveness;
d) serve contextual or personalized ads, unless you opt out;
e) answer support requests; and
f) comply with law, prevent fraud, or protect the rights, property, or safety of AIMobile, our users, or the public.
Parties With Whom We May Share Data
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data only in the following situations:
Third-Party Service Providers： We collaborate with external providers that specialize in analytics, advertising, and cloud infrastructure. These service providers may receive access to the data we automatically collect; nevertheless, they are contractually required to employ that information exclusively for the specific tasks they perform on our behalf. • Legal & Safety – when required by subpoena, court order, or similar legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm.
• Business Transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, provided the receiving entity agrees to honor this Statement.
• Refund Verification – limited, non-identifiable usage statistics may be shared with Apple solely to adjudicate refund requests.
Your Rights & Choices
Right of Access & Portability – request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Right of Rectification – correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Right of Erasure – request deletion of your support email history or other data where applicable.
Right to Object/Restrict – opt out of personalized ads or limit certain processing.
Right to Withdraw Consent – where processing is based on consent, you can revoke it at any time.

Opt-Out Instructions:
iOS:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track”;
Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off “Personalized Ads.”
• Location: revoke the App’s location permission in system settings if you wish to stop IP-derived geolocation.
Data Retention
• Analytics & advertising data: kept in pseudonymized form for up to 26 months, then aggregated or deleted.
• Support tickets: retained for the period necessary to resolve the issue plus an additional 12 months for follow-ups, after which they are permanently erased.
• Anonymized statistics may be stored indefinitely.
International Transfers
AIMobile operates globally. By using AI Defender you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries (including the United States) whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
Security Measures
We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures in transit, strict role-based access controls, and ongoing vulnerability scanning. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
AI Defender is not marketed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 4. If a parent or guardian believes we have inadvertently gathered such information, please contact us; we will delete it promptly.
Third-Party Links & Services
The App may display ads or links to external sites not operated by AIMobile. This Statement does not cover those third parties. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any information.
Changes to This Statement
We may update this Statement periodically. Material changes will be announced through an in-app notice or push notification at least 7 days before they take effect. The “Effective as of” date at the top will always reflect the latest revision.
