To provide duplicate photo cleaning, video compression, Media Vault, and Trash Bin features, the App may access:
* Photos and videos stored on your device
* File names and storage locations
* File size, format, resolution, and duration
* Creation or modification dates
* Media thumbnails
* File hashes, similarity scores, or other locally generated identifiers used to detect duplicate or similar files
This information is used to:
* Scan for duplicate or similar photos
* Display files that may be safely reviewed and removed
* Compress videos selected by you
* Move selected media into the App’s Trash Bin
* Restore media from the Trash Bin
* Protect selected photos and videos inside Media Vault
Media scanning and comparison are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers unless a future feature clearly informs you and obtains your consent before doing so.
The App does not use your personal photos or videos to train artificial intelligence models.
### 1.2 Media Vault Information
When you choose to place photos or videos in Media Vault, the App stores and manages those files within the storage area used by the App.
Depending on the features available on your device, access to Media Vault may be protected using a PIN, password, pattern, fingerprint, face authentication, or another device-supported security method.
Vault files remain under your control. Uninstalling the App, clearing the App’s storage, resetting the device, or losing access credentials may result in permanent loss of Vault content. Users should maintain their own backups of important files.
We do not view, upload, sell, or use Vault content for advertising.
### 1.3 Trash Bin Information
When you delete supported media through the App, selected files may first be moved to the App’s Trash Bin rather than being immediately and permanently deleted.
Files remain in the Trash Bin until:
* You restore them;
* You permanently delete them;
* The App automatically removes them according to its displayed retention settings;
* The App’s data is cleared; or
* The App is uninstalled.
Once an item is permanently deleted, recovery may not be possible.
### 1.4 Google Account and Gmail Data
The Email Inbox Clean Up feature is optional. It becomes available only after you choose to connect and authorize a supported Google Account.
Depending on the permissions approved by you, the App may access:
* Your Google Account email address and basic account information
* Email sender and recipient information
* Email subject lines
* Message dates and timestamps
* Email labels, categories, and read status
* Email message content where required to identify cleanup categories
* Attachment metadata
* Other Gmail information necessary to display, organize, delete, archive, label, or otherwise manage messages through features selected by you
The App uses Gmail data only to:
* Display your inbox cleanup results
* Identify categories such as old, large, promotional, unread, or unwanted messages
* Provide inbox organization suggestions
* Perform actions that you select or confirm, such as deleting, archiving, or organizing messages
* Maintain the security and operation of the Email Inbox Clean Up feature
The App will not send, delete, archive, modify, or otherwise manage an email unless the action is initiated or confirmed by you.
Connecting a Google Account does not create a separate Phone Cleaner account.
### 1.5 Google API Limited Use Disclosure
Phone Cleaner: AI Cleaner’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the **Google API Services User Data Policy**, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data will not be:
* Sold to third parties
* Shared with data brokers
* Used for personalized or interest-based advertising
* Used to determine creditworthiness
* Used for purposes unrelated to the user-facing Email Inbox Clean Up feature
* Accessed by employees or other humans except where required for security, legal compliance, troubleshooting with your explicit permission, or another purpose permitted under Google’s policies
We request only the Google permissions reasonably necessary to provide the Email Inbox Clean Up feature.
You can revoke the App’s Google Account access at any time through your Google Account security and third-party access settings.
### 1.6 Locally Generated Information
The App may generate information locally, such as:
* Duplicate groups
* Similarity results
* Cleaning recommendations
* Storage estimates
* Compression settings
* Temporary thumbnails
* Vault preferences
* Trash Bin records
This locally generated information is used to operate the App and is not transferred to our servers under the practices covered by this version of the Privacy Policy.
## 2. How We Use Information
Information accessed by the App is used only to:
* Provide the features requested by you
* Detect duplicate or similar media
* Display storage and cleanup recommendations
* Compress selected videos
* Operate Media Vault and Trash Bin

Gmail information is accessed only for the time reasonably necessary to provide the Email Inbox Clean Up feature.
Temporary Gmail information or authentication credentials may be securely cached on your device. Such information is removed or becomes inaccessible when you:
* Disconnect your Google Account;
* Revoke the App’s Google permissions;
* Clear the App’s data; or
* Uninstall the App.
