I. INTRODUCTION.
Christopher Brosig (“we,” “us,” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines our data protection practices and explains the types of information we may process when you install and/or use the “AI Chat Assistant PRO” software application for mobile devices (the “App,” “our App”).
When we refer to personal data (or Personal Information), we mean any information relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to such data (“Personal Information”).
Personal Information refers to data that identifies a natural person, directly or indirectly, particularly by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to the person’s physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.
Our Privacy Policy applies to all users and others who access the App (“Users”).
For purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller unless otherwise indicated.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY FOR INFORMATION REGARDING HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE PROCESSED. BY USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
REQUESTS
To submit a verifiable consumer request for access, portability, or deletion of personal data, please contact us via email at support@polariscore.net. Please include the phrase "Your rights to maintain confidentiality in the state of California" in the text of your request.
When submitting a verifiable request, you should be prepared to:
Provide sufficient information to reasonably verify that you are the person whose Personal Information we have collected or an authorized representative. This may include your name, address, city, state, zip code, and email address. We may use this information to present security questions to verify your identity. If an authorized agent is acting on your behalf, they must provide written authorization or a power of attorney signed by you.
Describe your request in sufficient detail to allow us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond.
We will not respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot: (i) verify your identity or authority to make the request; or (ii) confirm that the Personal Information relates to you. We may ask for additional information or documents to verify your identity and may conduct checks, including with third-party identity verification services, before taking action on your Personal Information. These measures are safeguards to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of your Personal Information.
We ensure that Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request will only be used to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request and not for any other purpose. We will retain this information for a reasonable time necessary to fulfill this purpose and then delete it.
We strive to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of receipt. If we need more time, we will inform you of the reason and the extension period in writing. Note that we are only required to respond to two requests per customer each year.
EQUAL RIGHTS
We do not discriminate based on your exercise of privacy rights. This means we will not vary pricing, products, or the level or quality of services provided based on your decision to exercise your rights. However, in certain circumstances, we may be unable to provide services if you choose to delete your Personal Information from our records.
SALE OF DATA
We do not sell any of your Personal Information to third parties.
II. INFORMATION WE PROCESS
There are several categories of information that may be processed.
Functional Information
We request and process the following information when you use the App. This information is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract between you and us. Without such information, it is impossible to provide complete functionality of the App and deliver the requested services.
User Content (i.e., the text you enter into the message field and send to the App, as well as any text or other content generated by AI via the App). Subject to your compliance with certain rules and restrictions outlined in our Terms of Use, you may use, share, or otherwise exploit your User Content for your own purposes. However, any use of User Content is at your sole risk, meaning you assume full responsibility for any associated risks. It is your sole responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws while using the User Content. Please note that we engage the third-party service provider, OpenAI, L.L.C., for processing and creation of AI-generated User Content. Please refer to Section IV for more details regarding OpenAI, L.L.C.’s privacy policy and practices.
Contact Information (e.g., name, email address, and any other content included in your email) which you may voluntarily provide when contacting us via email or support forms. We collect, store, and process this information using our cloud storage provider (Amazon.com, Inc.), which may change at any time. We use this information to respond effectively to your inquiries, fulfill your requests, send you communications that you request, and perform the requested services.
Information That Is Processed Automatically
With your permission, we use third-party automatic data processing technologies (advertising or analytics tools) to analyze certain information transmitted by your device via our App (e.g., Identifier for Advertisers for iOS devices, Advertising ID, or Android ID for Android devices). Some integrated advertising or analytics tools (see Section IV for a list of these tools) initiate automated processing of your personal data, including profiling. Profiling involves automated processing of personal data to evaluate certain aspects related to you, particularly to analyze or predict your personal preferences, interests, behavior, location, or movements (see the list of data described below). Processing of information through automatic data processing technologies begins automatically once you grant the App permission to track your activity. You can withdraw your permission at any time—please refer to opt-out options in Section VIII below.
We may process some information about your device and user behavior based on our legitimate interests. This information falls within the categories of data described above in the “Information That Is Processed Automatically” subsection. It is generally non-personal, meaning it does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual, and we may access it only in aggregated form. We use this information to improve our App and provide our users with the best possible experience.
Device Details. When you use a mobile device to access our App, some details about your device are reported, including “device identifiers.” Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device (but not you personally). Device identifiers enable generalized reporting or personalized content and ads by third parties.
The data that may be processed includes:
Information about the device itself: Type of device, type of operating system and its version, model and manufacturer, screen size, screen density, orientation, audio volume, and battery level, device memory usage.
Information about the Internet connection: Mobile carrier, network provider, network type, IP address, timestamp and session duration, speed, browser type.
Location-related information: IP address, country code/region/state/city associated with your SIM card or device, language setting, time zone, neighboring commercial points of interest (e.g., “coffee shop”).
Other device identifiers: e.g., user identifiers (if they are set up by the App’s developer).
Information about Applications. Information such as the name, API key (application identifier), version, and properties of our App may be reported for automated processing and analysis. Some services also record the list of applications and/or processes installed or running on your device.
Cookies and Similar Technologies. When you use the App, cookies and similar technologies (e.g., pixels, web beacons, scripts) may be used. A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information that is downloaded to your device when you access the App. This text file is then sent back to the server each time you use the App, allowing us to operate the App more effectively. For example, we will know how many users access specific areas or features within our App and which links or ads they clicked. We use this aggregated information to understand and optimize how our App is used, improve our marketing efforts, and provide content and features that interest you. We may ask advertisers or other partners to serve ads or services within the App, which may use cookies or similar technologies.
Log File Information. Log file information is automatically reported each time you access the App. It may also be provided when the App is installed on your device. When you use our App, analytics tools automatically record certain log file information, including the time and date when you start and stop using the App and how you interact with it.
Ad-Related Information. The following data may be reported regarding ads you view or have viewed: the date and time a particular ad is served, whether the ad was “clicked” or resulted in a “conversion” event, what the ad offer involved, the ad type (e.g., text, image, or video), where the ad offer was displayed within the App, and whether you responded to the ad.
In-App Events. When you use our App, analytics tools automatically record in-App information (e.g., tutorial steps, leveling up, payments, in-app purchases, custom events, progression events, methods of limiting the processing of user data).
Information automatically provided to advertising or analytics tools generally does not fall under our control, so we cannot be held responsible for the processing of such information. Note that some services engage in personal data profiling and may obtain information about your identity or device using technologies beyond our responsibility. For example, if your user ID is linked to your Facebook account, Facebook may use your device information in connection with categorized data it has already recorded (e.g., your age, gender, or other demographic indicators). We do not control, supervise, or assume liability for how third parties process your personal data, especially data collected independently (not through our App). Any requests regarding the disclosure of your Personal Information should be directed to such third parties (see Section IV).
Payment Information
Our e-commerce provider (Apple) is responsible for billing, processing, and charging for in-app purchases and handles your Personal Information securely. This information is processed as part of the contract between you and us. We do not have access to or use your credit or debit card information.
You can access applicable in-app purchase rules and policies directly from the app stores.
III. PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The mission of Polaris Core Interactive Inc. is to continually improve the AI Chat Assistant PRO application ("the App") and provide users with enhanced experiences. As part of this mission, your information may be processed for the following purposes:
(a) To Make Our Services Available: We use functional information and automatically processed data to deliver the requested services and maintain the functionality of the App.
(b) To Improve, Test, and Monitor the Effectiveness of the App: Automatically processed information is utilized to better understand user behavior and trends, identify potential issues, and optimize the performance and security of the App.
(c) To Provide Interest-Based (Behavioral) Advertising or Targeted Content: Automatically processed information may be used for marketing purposes, including delivering ads that align with your interests and preferences. Personalized content and information, including online ads, may be provided to you based on these preferences.
(d) To Understand How Users Discover the App: We track how you and other users engage with our App, including whether it was discovered through advertisements on third-party platforms, websites, apps, or mailing lists. We may also monitor if purchases are made within the App. (For more details, please refer to the “Cookies and Similar Technologies” section above.)
(e) To Communicate with You: Contact information may be used to send newsletters, marketing notifications, or updates regarding our policies and terms. Additionally, your information is used to respond to inquiries or feedback you provide.
(f) To Prevent Fraud, Spam, and Enforce Legal Compliance: To maintain a safe environment within the App, your information may be processed to detect and prevent fraud, security breaches, illegal activities, and to protect our intellectual property and enforce our Terms of Use.
In the event we process your personal data for any new purposes not listed here, you will be informed via an update to this Privacy Policy prior to such processing.
IV. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION
Your information will be shared with third parties only as described in this Privacy Policy. We comply with the U.S. Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for the Mobile Environment.
When integrating external services, we select third parties that commit to applying necessary technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, we cannot fully guarantee the security of any information transferred to such third parties, nor are we liable for accidental loss or unauthorized access resulting from the actions of those third parties.
We do not rent or sell your personal data to third parties. However, we may share information such as cookies, log files, device identifiers, and location data with third-party organizations that provide automatic data processing technologies for the App. We have no control over how these third parties use tracking technologies or how they process data.
We may also share certain information, such as cookie data, with third-party advertising partners. This information enables ad networks to deliver targeted advertisements that are most likely to be relevant to your interests.
V. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Christopher Brosig operates globally, offering the AI Chat Assistant PRO ("the App") to users across various countries.
We, along with third-party service providers that support automatic data processing for the App or our advertising partners, may transfer the information processed automatically across international borders, including from your country or jurisdiction to others.
If you reside in the European Union or other regions with data processing laws different from those in the United States, please be aware that your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to jurisdictions where the data protection regulations may not offer the same level of protection as your own.
This implies that your Personal Information could be transferred to a third country, a specific territory or sector within that country, or to an international organization where the data protection standards may not be equivalent to those in your jurisdiction.
We make efforts to ensure that any recipient of your Personal Information implements appropriate safeguards, in line with applicable data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to any such third country, territory, or international organization.
For data storage purposes, we utilize hosting service providers. We prioritize your privacy by encrypting your data, where possible, before transmitting it to these providers. We work exclusively with hosting organizations that have passed our security and reliability assessments.
VI. DATA RETENTION POLICY
We generally retain your Personal Information only as long as it is necessary to provide the App’s functional services and fulfill our legal obligations. If you wish to discontinue the use of your information that we control and store, you may request the deletion of your Personal Information and account closure.
However, certain data may still be retained for a limited period (no longer than the storage purpose requires) if it is necessary to meet legal obligations (e.g., taxation, accounting, auditing) or to maintain security, backup, and fraud prevention measures.
VII. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
You have rights under applicable data protection laws regarding your Personal Information. You may exercise the following options regarding your data:
Data Access and Portability: You may request copies of your Personal Information.
Modify or Correct Data: If you cannot update data via your account, you have the right to request corrections, updates, or changes to your data.
Data Retention and Deletion: User data is typically retained as long as your user profile is active or as necessary to provide relevant services. You may request deletion of all or part of your Personal Information.
Restriction of Processing: In specific circumstances, you may request limitations on how your data is processed.
To exercise these rights, please contact us via email support@polariscore.net. Note that these rights are available only regarding data that we physically control and store.
If your Personal Information is processed automatically, you may, in some cases, object to such processing. If your data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may opt out of such processing by contacting the relevant third-party services listed in Section IV. Most third-party services provide instructions on their privacy pages or offer APIs or other options for this purpose.
VIII. HOW TO OPT OUT
Opt-Out of Marketing Tracking
If you prefer not to receive personalized ads based on your interests from third-party providers, please follow these instructions:
For iOS devices, select "Limit Ad Tracking" in Settings > Privacy > Advertising. Further information is available here.
Visit youradchoices.com for additional opt-out options.
Please note that opting out of certain interest-based ads may still result in receiving contextual ads based on non-Personal Information, such as the content of other digital products you use.
Opt-Out of Location Data Processing
To prevent third-party providers from using your precise location or street-level data, please follow these steps:
For iOS 11 or later, disable Location Services for the relevant app via Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Set the “Share My Location” option to “Never.” Additional information is available here.
IX. SECURITY
We prioritize the security of your Personal Information. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data during transmission and storage. Reasonable and appropriate measures are taken to protect against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks and the nature of the data involved.
We implement technical and organizational measures to enforce data-protection principles, such as data minimization, and to integrate necessary safeguards into processing activities. Personal data is encrypted using strong encryption algorithms, including hashing where feasible.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach compromises your Personal Information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws.
For inquiries about our security practices, please contact us through the contact form provided below.
X. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us at support@polariscore.net. We will investigate and, if appropriate, delete the information from our systems. Users aged 13-17 require parental or guardian consent to use our services.
XI. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy is subject to regular updates.
When changes are made, we will post the updated Privacy Policy and notify you as appropriate. Additional notifications or updates may be provided based on the circumstances.
