OVERVIEW:
The advent of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies has revolutionized genomics and precision medicine by enabling large-scale, high-throughput biological data generation. However, translating such massive and complex datasets into clinically actionable insights requires robust, interpretable, and scalable computational approaches. This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from bioinformatics, machine learning, and clinical genomics to explore cutting-edge AI-driven methodologies for NGS data analysis, data quality control, variant interpretation, and clinical decision support. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, the workshop will highlight the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in intelligent analysis pipelines from raw sequencing data to clinical applications.
TOPICS OF INTEREST(Not limited to):
Deep learning models for somatic and germline variant calling
AI-based quality control and noise correction for sequencing data
Bioinformatics pipelines for tumor profiling and biomarker discovery
Interpretable AI in clinical genomics and personalized medicine
Federated learning and privacy-preserving methods for genomic data sharing
Multi-omics data integration and disease subtype stratification
Automated clinical decision support systems based on sequencing data
Benchmarking and performance evaluation of AI-based bioinformatics tools
Regulatory science and explainability in diagnostic AI pipelines
PROGRAM
The workshop will take place on December 3-6, 2024 (To Be Announced). The program is not available yet.
