Ahsel is built to be completely private. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.
Everything Ahsel does — playing sounds, detecting cries, and generating sleep insights — happens entirely on your device. Your data stays on your phone. There are no Ahsel servers.
Ahsel uses your phone's microphone only to detect your baby's cries. Audio is analyzed in real time on your device and immediately discarded — it is never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
Ahsel has no sign-up, no login, and no cloud storage. Nothing leaves your phone.
None. Ahsel contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Microphone — for on-device cry detection (as described above).
Notifications — to alert you to a cry and to send an optional morning recap. These are generated and shown locally on your device.
Ahsel is currently free. If we add optional in-app purchases in the future, they are processed by Google Play — we never see or store your payment details. We will update this policy before enabling any purchases.
Ahsel is intended for use by parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves; the "Effective date" above will change accordingly.
