The children, growing up bring with them a mixture of pleasure and pain, love of knowing everything and need to discover anything. It would be nice if children are happy and free of troubles or dangerous. Feeling safe about children is the first importance needs for parents in all worlds. Developing a Child Tracking System (CTS) for parents with could greatly decrease their stress and giving them more freedom during excursions with their children. The top level view of this paper has been designed with child module. The child module is attached to each child. Its primary role is to periodically send messages to the parent mobile, tracking their location and alert them if the child is in danger. Child module has the ability to connect different sensors; however, sensors number can increase as necessary with a slight modification. In this work, smoke, temperature, water, alcohol, sound sensors are used.
The child tracking unit incorporates the hardware part that is the Arduino, GPS, GSM and various sensors .The GSM sends message to the parent sensing the sensors.It is responsible for communication with the child and calculating their distance by GPS .The GPS antenna receives signal from the satellite through a modem. The modem then converts data and sends the location of the child to the parent(s). This system is bought out as a cost effective child tracking system for the families. It intends to provide a reasonable security by tracking children.
