Ahmad M. Dipu is a multilingual strategist, legal advisor, educator, veteran, and founder whose work sits at the intersection of service, scholarship, and global citizenship. With over 26 years of cross-sectoral experience—including military command, international peacekeeping, legal consultancy, and higher education—he embodies a practice where discipline meets intellectual curiosity and leadership is rooted in lived experience.
Ahmad is the founder & CEO of the International Language Learning and Translation Center (ILLTC), where he leads a mission to transform global language education. ILLTC provides learner-centered instruction in Arabic, French, Chinese, Spanish, and other world languages—equipping individuals to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers through inclusive, real-world pedagogy. Previously, he taught at Alliance Française de Dhaka, one of the world’s premier French language institutions, and served as a certified DELF examiner. He continues teaching French, Arabic, and Chinese, holding firmly to the belief that true leadership begins in the classroom, not just the boardroom.
Ahmad’s academic background reflects his multidimensional expertise. He holds an MPhil in International Relations from Jahangirnagar University, a master's in development studies from North South University, an LLM in law, an MBA in project management, and an MSS in economics, along with multiple postgraduate diplomas in HRM, supply chain management, public policy, and language instruction. His academic training spans prestigious institutions, including Harvard University, Tsinghua University, and the United Nations Training Institute, where he has pursued a blend of theory and application.
As a retired officer of the Bangladesh Army, Ahmad held command in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, served in intelligence and operations roles at the Prime Minister’s Office (Special Security Force), and represented Bangladesh in UN peacekeeping operations. He later transitioned into civilian leadership roles, including as Head of Legal Affairs for a major industrial venture and as a Law Enforcement Specialist on a USAID-funded environmental governance project.
Currently, he provides consultancy on legal and policy matters, education, and development, while writing extensively on foreign policy, civil-military relations, and strategic affairs—with a particular focus on South Asia. His work is driven by the conviction that when knowledge is grounded in service, it becomes a transformative force for societies in transition.
