I am thrilled to have you here, whether you intentionally sought out this page or stumbled upon it by chance. My name is Ashish Gupta, and I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at BITS-Pilani Dubai campus, UAE. I worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in CReWMaN Research Lab under the guidance of Prof. Sajal K. Das in Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology, Rolla, United States, for 2 years. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU, Varanasi, India. My doctoral journey allowed me to delve deep into the realm of algorithms for ubiquitous applications, with a particular focus on analyzing sensory data using machine learning techniques.
Currently, I am investigating Federated Learning from the perspectives of robustness and fairness, with a focus on discouraging adversarial participation and minimizing performance disparities among benign clients. I am also exploring the integration of quantum computing and machine learning, particularly at the intersection of quantum technologies and intelligent learning systems.
