General information

I am an art historian based in Washington D.C. Born and raised in North Macedonia, one of the seven countries that used to be within Yugoslavia, I came to the United States to continue my studies in English language and literature. My long-standing interests in art led to another academic discipline and a PhD in art history, focusing on Renaissance and Baroque art.

In addition to college-level teaching, I have extensive lecturing experience within the United States and in Europe. In the Washington area, I regularly present lectures and courses for the Smithsonian Institution and other museum institutions. My publications include scholarly books and essays, as well as exhibition catalogues and journal articles for broader audiences.

I have worked on numerous curatorial projects and have extensive consulting experience with museums, non-profit, and corporate institutions.
