I lead development of data-driven algorithms to optimize Target's omnichannel fulfillment operation, with an end-to-end scope ranging from inventory placement and positioning, order promise, order allocation and last mile delivery. Beauty lies in simplicity - I am an advocate for simple solutions to solve complex problems at scale. I am also actively involved in academic business research - I am interested in the network aspect of various decisions, ranging from inventory, fulfillment, assortment, returns and pricing.
I obtained my doctoral degree in Technology and Operations at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Prior to Ross, I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Product Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
