Research Interests

I am an applied and computational topologist; my research is motivated and inspired by real life problems. My main focus is on understanding how shape influences behaviour, which is a common theme arising in the study of many natural systems. My interests include topological data analysis, applied knot theory, optimal transport for structured data, network theory, genome 3D organisation and movement research.

I was a member of the Theoretical Systems Biology group in Melbourne

Previously, I was a Hooke Research fellow in Oxford's Topological Data Analysis centre and in the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics

I am a participant in the EUTOPIA cost action
