Aginsky is a keyboardist in studio, composition and production. Additionally he has an extensive career as a freelance backing musician, touring with diverse artists. Jazz, latin, singer-songwriter, pop, hip-hop, electro... over three decades Aginsky is established as a versatile and accomplished supporting musician.
Since the later half of the 90s, Aginsky has been involved with the DJ community, exploring the boundaries between the contemporary rhythms of trip-hop, jungle and drum-and-bass and the spontaneity and improvisation of jazz. Discography includes some of the finest turntablists, including DJ Quest and Cut Chemist. His live chill-out project Subnautic received acclaim, as did his work with Zap Mama, Nicki Minaj, Gretchen Lieberum, Lolo Gervais and Tranquil Elephantizer
Aginsky studied jazz piano with notables Randy Craig, Herbie Hancock and Eddie Marshall. After teaching masterclasses on tours, he continued working both in classroom and administration. He has been director for music departments for schools and universities.
