1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how AgeMate (“AgeMate”, “we”, “us”, or “the app”) handles information when you use the AgeMate – Age & Date Calculator mobile application. AgeMate is a productivity utility that calculates ages and dates on your device. It is not a health, medical, legal, finance, or entertainment service.

2. Scope
This policy applies to the AgeMate Android application. It does not apply to Google Play, your device operating system, or third-party apps you may choose when sharing a result. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Information stored on your device
AgeMate is designed to work offline and does not require an account. If you choose to use optional features, the following information may be stored locally on your device:

• date of birth and optional time of birth

• important dates you save (such as names, dates, notes, and categories)

• calculation history

• favorite calculations

• app settings (such as theme, date format, first day of week, and February 29 birthday rule)

AgeMate does not ask for or store passwords.

4. Information we do not collect
In this version, AgeMate does not operate a backend server for user data and does not upload your dates, history, favorites, or settings to AgeMate servers. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, photos, files, payment details, or government ID numbers. This version does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting, tracking SDKs, or cloud backup.

5. How we use information
Information you enter is used only to provide the features you request: calculating exact age, date difference, age difference, birthday countdown, date add/subtract, showing saved important dates, keeping history and favorites, and applying your settings. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or selling data.

6. Sharing
AgeMate does not sell personal information. If you tap Share Result, the Android share sheet opens and you choose where to send the text. AgeMate does not receive, store, or control that shared content after you send it. Uninstalling the app, or deleting history, favorites, or dates inside the app, removes the related local data from AgeMate storage on that device.

7. Permissions
AgeMate does not require camera, microphone, contacts, location, or photo library access for its core features. The app may use standard system capabilities such as local storage and the system share sheet. Your device or Google Play may show additional system permissions as part of Android or the store. AgeMate does not use those for collecting personal data on AgeMate servers.

8. Data retention and security
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall AgeMate. We use on-device storage provided by the operating system. No method of storage is 100% secure, but AgeMate does not transmit your calculation data to AgeMate servers in this version.

9. Children
AgeMate is a general-audience productivity tool. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered personal information into the app, delete the related entries or uninstall the app.

10. Your choices
You can use AgeMate without saving a date of birth or important dates. You can delete individual history items, clear all history, edit or delete saved dates, and remove favorites. You can also uninstall the app to remove AgeMate’s local data from that device.

11. International users
Because this version stores information only on your device, your data is not transferred by AgeMate to servers in other countries. If you later enable a cloud feature, we will update this policy before that feature is turned on.

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we add advertising, analytics, accounts, or cloud sync, we will update this policy before those features are enabled. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest revision.
