Agathe Simon

I am currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), Dublin and a visiting Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin, Department of Economics.

My research interests include labour economics, public economics, poverty and inequality.

I received my PhD in Economics in December 2022 from the University of Strasbourg and BETA Economics.

As part of my PhD thesis, I studied the impact of benefits policy reforms on income distribution and labour supply using microsimulation and micro-econometrics techniques. I also study the poverty dynamics faced by temporary workers.
