A city has been built beneath the canopy of dense jungle trees. This is the home of the Reptarrans, a chameleon-like race known as the ariduff clan. Although the surrounding area is densely forested, the city itself is sprawling and filled with plenty of reptarran-made inventions. Each decisively made to improve their day-to-day lives.

Roughly translates to: "The place where everyone lives", "tHE neighborhood”.
rEPTARRAN Families tend to live ALL TOGETHER, EVEN through LONG generations. thEY LIVE IN connected homes built ON TOP OF each other. At the center OF Béesindario is a huge dining hall where everyone shares in the harvest. When their sister clan are visiting, the reptarrans simply offer their homes to the birdfolk, allowing them to to spend the night and provide them with food as needed. The only people who do not stay in the Béesindario are high ranking nobles, scholars, and chiefs.
Now, reptarrans extend this same courtesy to the aerconi and echoes alike.
A multi-layered series of farmlands, built with canals that feed water to the crops. These canals are highly advanced structures, allowing the farmers to redirect water flow as needed to different pools. Each canal is filled with Cenote Lool pads to prevent the water from evaporating. Some canals have fish living in the canal pools in order to lend nutrients to the surrounding soil.
Scattered throughout the Lu'umil are tall stone rocks that are carved with a distinct similarity to the zumbar beetle. As it so turns out, these structures aren't rocks at all, but machines similar to tractors. The locals ride the stone beetles to plow the earth.
The Num cHI sANCTUARY IS A PLACE OF GREAT SIGNIFICANCE TO THE REPTARRANS. hERE, scholars SPEND THEIR DAYS DEEP IN THEIR research AND THEIR Pupils are taught ABOUT LUUN AND ITS USES. tHE SANCTUARY ALSO FUNCTIONS AS A LIBRARY, where the REPTARRAN'S MOST CURRENT collection of knowledge is STORED. eACH FRAGMENT WORTH STUDY OR COLLECTION Is kept SAFELY INSIDE THE SANCTUARY'S STONE stone vaults.
iT IS A HIGHLY DECORATED AREA, WITH LARGER-THAN-LIFE CARVINGS AND SCULPTURES OF HISTORIC REPTARRANS CARVED INTO THE WALLS AND STONE. It IS CONSIDERED a right of passage to be able to carve your legacy on the pillars around THE SANCTUARY, and many artisans are required just TO ADD TO this space alone.
tHE tS'AAK huts function as a medical bay. The sick and injured are transported to the ts'aak huts in order to receive proper care. Once taken to the ts'aak hut, you are typically not allowed to leave its walls until you have fully recovered.
These huts are also reptarran birth occurs. The young are hatched from eggs and carefully protected in the sanctuary, using moss and the earth as a means to regulate the egg's temperatures. As such, the huts are heavily guarded by earth-ohui and reptarrans both.
This Market ground is a massive courtyard, decorated with tall pillars covered in ornate carvings and the Luundial sitting right in the center. This space is not only a dedicated meeting area, but functions as a marketplace where the Repterrans gather for announcements and discussions that require the Chief’s attention.
Across from the market and down the steps stands a tall pyramid structure called the Chiefs temple. This is where the royal’s and noble reside. It is also where more private meetings are held.
notably, this is where the Luunstone is stored.
The Hall of Us is a large temple where important moments in Reptarran history have taken place for generations. Anything from the naming of chiefs, the birth of the chief's children, and the coming-of-age ceremonies for young reptarrans takes place at the hall of us.
Every family line has a dedicated stone pillar, where carvings are made that detail the records of their lives (births, deaths, wedding day, etc.)
In the center of the hall is a massive circular platform, where rituals, performances and ceremonies are performed under the light of a full moon. This is an extremely sacred ground that one cannot access without one of the hall's priests present.
Just beside the city is a large ravine where stone has been cut and brought into the city. Much of the city's structures are made of stone from this quarry, and the reptarrans use their technology to move the giant bricks and slabs but here more easily. When working in conjunction with their constructs, the reptarrans are able to build structures at a rapid pace.
Also in this ravine is a series of mines coneccted by a sprawling underground network of caves and springs. The working areas of this mine are illuminated by luun crystals. Every so often, reptarrans enter the deeper caves and carefully collect some of the luun crystals to be fashioned into pendants for their weapons. They are careful not to take too many though, in order to allow the luun crystals to continue to shine, and create more crystals in the future.
