4. Data Storage and Location
4.1 Local Device Storage
By default, ECG data and related personal information are stored locally on the user’s mobile device.
Users can freely manage and delete locally stored data within the app.
4.2 ECG Network Storage (“心电网络”)
If enabled by the user or by the medical institution, ECG data may be uploaded and stored in a dedicated ECG network system operated by a medical institution.
User accounts for the ECG network are created and managed by a network administrator
Users cannot independently create or delete network accounts
5. Data Retention
aECG retains user data only for as long as necessary to provide its core medical functions and to meet applicable legal or medical record retention requirements.
Data stored locally on the device is retained until the user deletes it or uninstalls the app
Data stored in the ECG network is retained according to the policies and regulatory requirements of the responsible medical institution
We do not retain data longer than necessary unless required by law
6. Data Deletion
Users have the right to delete their data at any time.
6.1 Local Data Deletion
Users can delete ECG records and personal information directly within the aECG app
Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data on the device
6.2 ECG Network Data Deletion
Because ECG network accounts are managed by administrators, users cannot directly delete network accounts or associated data.

The request will be processed by the responsible administrator or medical institution in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
