The Academy for Excellence Through the Arts
Welcome to the AEA/ PS 303 Community Board!
At the Academy for Excellence Through the Arts, we believe that children have a natural desire to learn, imagine, explore and create. Our teachers, parents and the community at large have high expectations, and are committed to the personal, academic and social growth of all of our students. We strive to offer our children an academically rigorous program with a well-balanced theater arts program consisting of drama, dance, music and art.
Our Community Board serves as a platform to share updates, messages, reminders and resources pertinent to our AEA families.

Tuesday, May 14th is an exciting day! We have our Mental Health Workshop at 8:30AM in the Cafe. At 9AM, we have our POPS Performance in the Multipurpose Room. Mr. Dornbach and Ms. Wang have graciously volunteered to record the performance for our families. In the afternoon and evening, we have our May Parent Teacher Conference (Parent Engagement Gallery Walk). Please sign up with your child's teacher so we can make sure your child's work is organized and displayed when you come.
The Read-A-Thon starts today! Please read the instructions sent home last week on how to set up your child's account.
Please call Ms. Donna to register your child for PreK. Deadline to register for PreK is May 31.
With the changing weather, we are asking families to please review our school's dress code. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Thank you for discouraging your children from bringing toys to school.
Everyone is required to present a photo ID when signing in with Ms. Marquez at the security desk. Please remind other caretakers to have one available when picking up your children.
