Gil LeGume 

Gil was born as the youngest son of Gaston LeGume, the main enemy of the King and Queen of Auradon, but he was the weak link of the family and both his father and his brothers hated his existence because he was classed as the 'weak' one.

And so. Gil found a family with someone else.

Gil became the second mate to Captain Uma and her First Mate Harry Hook after Uma won the boat race between the two, he became their bodyguard and then their friend and would go to the ends of the earth and back for the both of them.

 Verses 

Isle of the Lost: Born to the Isle, Gil never really expected to get a chance to leave due to his father's hatred for him, so he ended up becoming the third member of the starting crew of the Lost Revenge to make a name for themselves so that they could continue gaining territory and make a name for themselves for the future.

Auradon: Gil was pulled from the horrors of the Isle not long after the coronation of King Ben, he was taken to Auradon alongside Uma, Harry, and CJ. He soon followed Harry’s example and relaxed enough to take advantage of the new experiences and the time away from Gaston

Post- D3: After everything with the Sleeping Curse, Gil was given the chance to stay in Auradon after the battle. He agreed when the barrier went down, but it was only when the barrier went down and he knew he was safe.

One Piece: As the best friend of the only son of Captain Killian Hook, Gil tends to get pulled into his friend's stupid schemes until he is the one that pulls him into a fame of dares. A game of dares that they end up losing and soon both of them become members of the Straw Hat Crew.
