Christopher Argent. 

Chris was raised in a matriarchal hunter family, the eldest son and the one to hold the Argent gun-running industry. He was raised to hunt those that hunted him and humankind and was married off to the daughter of the Calavera hunter family to increase the strength of the bonds between the two wolf hunting families.

The marriage wasn’t the most loving in the beginning, Chris and Victoria knew that they would grow to love each other, so they went through the motions and ended up becoming best friends with a child to make the bonds stronger. Chris fell in love with his daughter the moment that he held her in his arms.

Due to the marriage and his daughter, Chris and his family drifted apart so he had no idea what his father was teaching his sister and never knew about the link between Kate and the Hale Fire. All he knew was that someone had destroyed the Hale family, including the humans and children, the children were the only reason that Chris felt wrong about the fire.

When the rumor of the death of Laura Hale hit Chris and his family, Chris knew that his wife would move them to Beacon Hills, where he himself had graduated High School. 

He once again got dragged into the workings of the Hale family when he learns of his sister’s actions and his heart broke as he realized that his family was filled with complete corruption.

The loss of his sister, then his wife and then the betrayal of his father and hurting his daughter made Chris question his role as a hunter and retired the moment that he could, allowing his daughter reign of the family matriarch as she worked beside the McCall pack.
