The rate of AI development is insane.  AI applications update weekly to compete with other tools and are often surpassed by better systems in months. There is NO SIGN this race is slowing down! 

So how do you train for the future?  Say you commit yourself to becoming a Python developer (1-2 year program).  Today a single skilled coder with AI can accomplish in days what took a development team months to do before.  And this tools are still improving! Do you really think there will be a need for scripting jobs by the time you finish your training?  

Any specific skill that is attached to a specific tool has an expiry date.  So what kind of training should you invest your time and money in?

Many think AI will replace humans. Not exactly; AI will replace teams of humans, but the human operator will always be a critical component of the AI engine.

AI is a fulcrum, it magnifies the will of the user. However, just like a fulcrum, an AI has no will to act on its own, it is entirely reactive to prompts by the user.

A hammer is a very useful tool as it can apply force greater than any human hand, but hammers do not hold the vision of the artist.  

A fundamental truth (that everyone forgets) is that AI cannot think for you, it must be guided.  And that is the responsibility of the human operator.
