Attend one of the manufacturing facility tours offered during the quarter (or go on a tour yourself!)
Note: If you attend multiple tours, each tour can count for up to +2% of extra credit!
After the tour, do the following:
Provide an overview summary of all the current and/or potential applications of what you are currently learning in this course that you saw or learned about at the facility
Identify your key takeaways from the tour as it pertains to what you are currently learning in this course - what did you see/learn that you didn't know previously, how does what you saw/learned affect your perspective going forward, etc.

Want to make something other than what is on this list and want it to count as Extra Credit?
If you have an idea, bring it up with your instructor and come to an agreement on what the project will be and how much extra credit it may be worth
After being approved, make your project, then do the following:
Show your entire process (designing, machining, post-processing, etc.)
Show the finished end-result, including functionality
Create complete CAD files & Technical Drawings for the project
