I started this with a Wikipedia article on the Forgetting Curve. After reading the article, I determined the essential points of knowing about the Forgetting Curve and created a script. From the written script, I described the animation for each scene. At this point, the scripts and animations were submitted for feedback to ensure it makes sense in the order written to the audience.
My design process started with the written script and animation details. Knowing the animation that I wanted within the the video, I then chose the characters and overall tone of the video. Working within the software, I chose the characters that would best suit the tone the backgrounds to provide a continuous tone throughout.
During the development process, I start with the characters, transitions, and props to match the audio for the whole video before adding animations. After the basics of the video are completed, the animation is added throughout. Each scene is reviewed for timing and flow.
