What is Ao Oni Revised?

Over the years, the creator of Ao Oni, known simply as "noprops", made many versions of the beloved RPG Maker classic
and while the previous versions were long since abandoned by the creator, many fans from both Japan, America and the rest of the world
still remember these older versions as having interesting alternative layouts of the mansion interior
as well as different areas, monsters introduced, puzzles, etc.

Ao Oni Revised is a project that wishes to take these older versions and introduce some gameplay and
characterization tweaks featured in future versions, starting with Version 1.1 and going forward until Version 5.2.
Version 6.23 (the latest version) might not have that many changes as it's already the most polished and complete version of the original game,
but there will definitely be some minor corrections (bug fixes mostly).

I would also like to note that since this project is created by me, AdPro, this project will primarily be in English
and will feature my already existing Japanese-to-English translations of the games with the tweaks I already mentioned.

What is Ao Oni: The First Fear?
Ao Oni: The First Fear is an alternate version of the first version of the game with character design, writing tweaks,
and changes to some of the gameplay to make the game feel less unfocused and more like Ao Oni Version 6.23,
including giving some items different use purposes to help with certain sections of the game (You're welcome!)
This also introduces a scrapped item that was found in Version 1.1's code, feel free to look for it! It might come in handy.
Since this is the first game in Ao Oni Revised, only one major puzzle is implemented.
The rest of the installments will add more puzzles just like the original versions this project is based on.
