Ao Oni 5.2 Walkthrough - Basement & Annex

While following the walkthrough, remember to save often.

Continue forward. Inspect door.
Enter soroban puzzle solution combination.

Go to the door leading upward, past the bookshelves room.
Enter the door on your right.
Push chair towards shelf with an object on top.
Obtain Metal Stick.
Use Metal Stick.
Use Flat Head.
Push chair back to bookshelf room.
Push chair towards bookshelf with red object on top.
Obtain Diary (Red Cover).

Go to the door leading upward, past the bookshelves room.
Go past the hallway.
Inspect bookshelves on the bottom-left side of the room.
Obtain Ripped Page.
Use Ripped Page.
You will need to solve the calculation puzzle.

Inspect the bookshelf you obtained Ripped Page from.
Enter the passage.
Use Lighter. Inspect panel.
Use Flat Head Screwdriver.
Go back through the first door to the bookshelves room.
Head into the door to your left.
Pull the circuit breaker lever.

Go back to the passage.
Inspect panel.
Input calculation puzzle solution combination.
Obtain Annex Key.
Exit passage.
Enter the door leading upwards.
Use Annex Key.

Go upstairs to the second floor, enter the left door.
Head downwards, push the statue down the hole.

↓

Go upstairs to reach third floor.
Head to the bottom-left room.
Push the box towards the hole.
Obtain Lighter Fluid.
Use Lighter Fluid.
Answer "Yes".

Go downstairs to first floor.
Head to the room on the left.
Use Lighter.
Obtain Blue Stone.
Inspect closet on the top-left side of the room.
Obtain Doll.

Go to the fireplace room.
Use Lighter.
Use Doll.
Obtain Red Stone.

↓

Go downstairs to first floor.
Head to the hallway leading upward.
Go to the right room.
Use Blue Stone and Red Stone on the doll with no eyes.
Obtain Doll Head.

Go to left room.
Use Doll Head on impossible puzzle frame.
Obtain Third Floor Key.

↓

Go upstairs to third floor.
Use Third Floor Key.
Go up to boarded window.
Use Flat Head Screwdriver.
Obtain Plank.

Go downstairs to first floor.
Head to the right hallway.
Use Plank on hole.
Go into the room and inspect bookshelf.
Obtain Diary (Black Cover).
Use Diary (Red Cover).

Take back Plank.
Go upstairs to third floor.
Go to the bottom-left room.
Inspect on the wall with writing on it.
Use Plank.
(This is plank code #1, it's needed for later).

Go downstairs to second floor.
Enter the fireplace room.
Stand in front of fireplace.
Use Diary (Black Cover).
Obtain Second Floor Key.

Go right then downward.
Use Second Floor Key.
Obtain Lightbulb.

↓

Go downstairs to first floor.
Head towards the hallway leading upward.
Enter right room.
Stand in front of doll with no head.
Use Lightbulb.
Turn off the lights with the switch near the door.
Use Plate Shard on wall on the top-left side of the room.
Input plank code #1 combination.
Obtain Iron Gate Key.

Head towards the right hallway of the annex.
Use Plank.
Enter the passage next to the bookshelf.
Use Iron Gate Key.
Enter door on the right.

Inspect panel.
You will need to solve the chase puzzle.
(Head to the top, then head to the bottom-right to catch the other pawn.)
Exit the room.

Head to the door on the left.
Inspect panel.
You will need to solve the four-color theorem puzzle.
(Click the link in case you need help solving it.)
Obtain Moon Piece.
Use Plank.
(This is plank code #2).

Head to the hallway leading upward in this area.
Continue left, head downward, and enter the room.
Inspect the corner of the carpet.
Obtain Small Key.

Head towards the left side of the hallway.
Inspect gate door.
Use Small Key.
Obtain Padlock.
Enter the gate.
Use Lighter.
Inspect box.
Input plank code #2 combination.
Obtain Sun Piece.

Go back to chase puzzle room.
Enter door on the left.
Open the cage, close it behind you.
Use Padlock on door.
Obtain Star Piece.

↓

Go back to carpet room.
Inspect panel at the bottom of the room.
Use Moon Piece.
Use Sun Piece.
Use Star Piece.
Enter the passage.
Continue along the cave.
Inspect rope ladder.

Inspect rope ladder.
Go downwards and continue doing so.

↓

---GOOD ENDING---
Exit Annex, Exit Basement, head towards entrance hall.
Go to right hallway, enter library.
Talk to Takuro.
Go upstairs to Kid's Bedroom.
Talk to Mika.
Takeshi is in a random closet, he could be in any area.
Head back to cave area.
Obtain Shed Key.

Take back Plank.
Head to the hallway leading upward.
Use Plank on the hole.
Go through the open window.
Head leftward.
Use Shed Key.
Go downward.
