music and projection design for intermedia danceApril 2025• • •“SHED: An Evening of Intermedia Dance in Three Episodes” was a collaboration between faculty and student dancers and composers on April 25-26 in the Kiplinger Theatre at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. Exploring themes of technological transcendence and ruin as well as mechanical versus organic forms, the performance features choreography by dance faculty Olive Prince and Danielle Russo, as well from Merce Cunningham’s “50 Looks,” with music and projection design by four undergraduate and graduate students studying Technology in Music Performance.
As a collaborator in “SHED,” Adowyn Ernste created the projection design for Olive Prince's “Residue” as well as music and projection design for Danielle Russo's “Books and loud noises, flowers and electric shocks.”
