Adoptameaw is a family card game intended for all ages, including children. This app is designed to collect minimal data. We do NOT collect personal information from children under 13 (USA) or under 16 (EU/EEA) without verified parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian, please read this policy carefully.

1.  Who We Are & How to Contact Us

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Adoptameaw (“App”), a digital card game published on Google Play.

2.  Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the Adoptameaw Android app on Google Play, all future updates, and all users worldwide, with additional rights for EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from the App.

3.2  Data Collected by Google Play

Google may collect technical data (crash logs, install events) per their Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We access only aggregated, anonymized reports via Google Play Console.

3.3  In-App Purchases

All payment transactions are handled exclusively by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or process any payment or financial data.

3.4  Voluntary Support Contact

If you contact us by email, we receive your address and inquiry contents. We use this only to respond, and do not add you to any mailing list without consent.

4.  How We Use Your Data

We use data solely for:

•   Game functionality: saving progress and settings on-device.

•   Bug fixing: analyzing crash reports from Google Play.

•   App improvement: aggregated, anonymized analytics.

•   Customer support: responding to direct inquiries.

•   Legal compliance: fulfilling obligations under applicable laws.

We do NOT use your data for targeted advertising, selling data to third parties, profiling, or unsolicited marketing.

6.  Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

6.1  Google LLC (Platform Provider)

Google collects platform data per their Privacy Policy. We access only aggregated, anonymized performance reports — not individual user data.

6.2  Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

6.3  Business Transfers

In a merger or acquisition, data may transfer. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different policy.

6.4  No Advertising Networks

This App does NOT integrate with any advertising networks, tracking SDKs, social media plugins, or data brokers.

7.  Children's Privacy  (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Adoptameaw is a family game designed for all ages. We comply with U.S. COPPA (as amended 2025, effective June 23, 2025), GDPR Article 8, and all applicable children's privacy laws worldwide.

7.1  What We Do Not Collect from Children

The App is designed to function WITHOUT collecting any personal information from any user, including children. We do not collect: full name, username, email, phone number, address, date of birth, photographs, video, audio, geolocation, persistent identifiers, or biometric data.

7.2  Game Data Stored on Device

Only game progress and settings are stored — locally on the device, not transmitted to us or any third party, and not associated with any personal identifier.

7.3  No Behavioral Advertising to Children

We display no behavioral advertising. We do not share children's data with any advertising network or data broker, consistent with COPPA 2025's separate parental consent requirement for third-party disclosures.

7.4  Parental Rights (COPPA)

Parents and guardians may: (1) review personal information we hold about their child; (2) request deletion; (3) refuse further collection; (4) consent to collection without consenting to third-party disclosure. Contact: privacy@[yourdomain].com. We respond within 30 days.

7.5  GDPR Article 8 (EEA / UK Children)

Since our App collects no personal data from any user, we do not rely on children's consent as a legal basis. If future features require such data, verified parental consent will be obtained before collection.

7.6  Google Play Families Policy

This App complies with Google Play's Families Policy: no inappropriate ads, no sensitive personal information from children, no external links without appropriate safeguards.

9.  Data Security

•   On-device storage only: game data uses Android's sandboxed app storage.

•   No cloud transmission: we do not transmit personal data to external servers.

•   Secure communications: all connections use TLS encryption.

•   Access controls: restricted to authorized personnel only.

•   Breach notification: within 72 hours to authorities under GDPR, and to affected users as required.

11.  California Residents  (CCPA / CPRA)

11.1  Data Practices

In the past 12 months, we have NOT sold or shared any personal information. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA.

11.2  Your CCPA Rights

•   Right to Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected.

•   Right to Delete personal information, subject to exceptions.

•   Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.

•   Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing — we do not sell or share personal information.

•   Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — we do not collect it.

•   Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising any CCPA right.

11.3  Submitting a CCPA Request

Email privacy@[yourdomain].com. We respond within 45 days (extendable with notice). You may submit up to 2 requests per 12-month period.

11.4  Minors under 16 (CCPA)

We do not sell the personal information of California consumers under 16.

12.  EEA, UK & Swiss Residents  (GDPR)

In addition to rights in Section 10, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. EEA authorities: edpb.europa.eu. UK: ico.org.uk. We ask that you contact us first. We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling under Article 22 GDPR.

13.  International Data Transfers

Game data is stored only on your device. Crash reports and aggregated analytics are processed by Google LLC in the United States via Google Play services. Google participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and implements Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). See: policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.

14.  In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or access your payment card number, billing address, or financial information. Subject to Google Play's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

15.  Changes to This Policy

When we make material changes, we will: (1) update the 'Last Updated' date; (2) display an in-app notification upon next launch; (3) provide at least 30 days' advance notice for significant changes affecting children's data or new data collection practices.

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acknowledgment. Previous versions available upon request.

16.  Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY / STATE]. This does not limit your rights under mandatory local consumer protection laws (including GDPR rights for EEA residents, which cannot be waived by contract). Disputes may be submitted to the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION], except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
