Purpose
The program will consist of volunteer residents who will tour the courses during non-playing hours and report course condition to their respective Hole Captains
The following are the responsibilities of the Volunteer Team for the Adopt-a-Hole program.
Tees:
Fill in divots with sand or divot mix
Pick up broken tees and trash left behind
Check Divot mix boxes for functionality & fill with mix where needed
Report any broken or missing tee markers
Fairways:
Fill in divots with divot mix and sand
Check sprinkler heads & report any sprinkler head leakage
Check Cart traffic signs
Check enter/exit gates
Check stakes placed at penalty areas & for out of bounds
Note any wet areas or drainage concerns
Make a note of any bare spots or problem areas
Greens:
Correctly repair ball marks
Tamp down divots on collars and approaches
Check sprinkler heads around the greens
Note collar/fringe damages
Cart Paths:
Report any paths in need of maintenance or repair
Misc:
Check that all bunkers have at least minimum of 2 rakes that are functional
Check ball washers for water and warn out brushes
Trash (loose not trash cans) removal
Penalty Areas all marked
Report any broken tree limbs that need to be removed by the Maintenance Team
