About the Program
The Adopt-a-Patient program is an initiative that aims to help indigent patients have quality healthcare access and allow them to receive medical care and treatment.
Patients who are part of our indigent or underserved communities may already have a good prognosis and be eligible for procedures with proven and high success rates. But they won’t be able to take the next step in their medical journey alone.
The Adopt-a-Patient program focuses on patients who are currently managing complex cases and require comprehensive medical management, such as:
Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT)
Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT)
A process by which abnormal and/or damaged hematopoietic stem cells are replaced by health donor cells to restore hematopoiesis and immunologic function. It may also provide immunologic effects to help eradicate malignancies and prevent relapse.
Congenital Heart Defect Patent Ductus Arteriosus (CHD-PDA)
Congenital Heart Defect Patent Ductus Arteriosus (CHD-PDA)
Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs) are conditions that are already present at birth of the infant which affect the structure of the heart, and it functions. It is caused by abnormal formation of the heart during growth in the womb.
Your help can be put towards the start, all the way to the end of their current medical journey and recommended treatment. With your generosity, the Adopt-a-Patient program can provide these patients sustained financial support and help them access all components of their treatment plan, every step of the way.

Get to know "James"
"James" is an 8-year-old child who dreams of becoming a doctor someday. He is suffering from Chronic Granulomatous Disease, which hinders him from doing many things that a normal and healthy child can do.
The only curative treatment for his case is Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT), a long treatment course that needs sustainable funding. Fortunately, he is one of the first patients who will benefit from the generous efforts of this program.
As we stay true to our promise of putting our patients at the center stage, we are determined to support patients like James and help their funding by amplifying their call for help and reaching out to generous hearts and organizations like yours.
