The purpose of this study is to learn about how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted adolescents' daily experiences at home and in school and the affect on their emotional well-being and sleep.
Important Update (12/8/2020): We will be taking a break on data collection over the holidays. New participants who sign up will be contacted in January 2021.
You are eligible to participate if you are currently a high school student.
Under 18 years old? No problem, please speak to your parent/guardian about this study. Your parent will need to grant permission for you to participate. On the sign-up form, we will ask for your parent's name and email so that we can send them a consent form to sign. Once we receive the signed consent form, we will contact you to start the study.
You will complete an online survey which will take about 45 minutes. The survey will ask about how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted you and your daily experiences. We will also ask about your family relationships, school experiences, and emotional well-being.
Then, you will complete daily checklists each day for two weeks online. The daily checklists include questions about your sleep, activities and emotions. We will text you each morning with a link to complete the daily checklists which take less than 5 minutes to complete.
