Biometric Identity Verification (Face Data)
To verify that the person accessing the Application is the Uzbekistan citizen registered to the account, the Application includes a one-time face verification step at sign-in.
What is collected: A single still photo of the user's face, captured through the device camera.
On-device processing: Before the photo is captured, an on-device face-detection library (Google ML Kit) is used solely to confirm that a face is properly framed in the camera preview. This processing happens entirely on the device. No biometric templates, embeddings, landmarks, or contours are generated, exported, or stored by the Application, and no images leave the device through this library.
Transmission and purpose: The captured photo is transmitted only to the Service Provider's identity-verification endpoint operated by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where it is compared against the citizen's official identification photo already on file in the government registry. The server returns only a match result (verified: yes/no) and a similarity score. The photo is used solely for this one-time identity check, as required by Uzbek law for access to a citizen's own legal case records, court documents, and petitions. It is not used for marketing, profiling, advertising, model training, or any secondary purpose.
Third-party sharing: The face photo is not shared with any third parties. It is not transmitted to analytics services, advertising networks, or external machine-learning providers.
Retention:
- On the user's device: the image is held only in memory for the duration of the verification request, is never written to disk or the photo library, and is discarded once the verification response is received.
- On the server: the photo is processed for the match operation only and is not retained beyond what is required by Uzbek law for audit and security purposes.
Your choice: Identity verification is required to access legal case records in the Application. If you do not wish to undergo face verification, you may discontinue use by uninstalling the Application.
