First off in Windows 10 it appears that this icon or setting in the control panel is part of the windows system itself; meaning that when windows updated flash player Active X via windows updates that should re-enable that icon/feature for you.

6) Once complete go back to the start menu and follow steps 1 and 2 above, and then choose Check for updates ( I am on Windows 10 pro. I assume in Windows 10 home there is a check for updates button ). This should update your Adobe Flash player to the latest.

- use flash player old version that does not have "autokill", so flashplayer_32.0.0.371 is fine but if your PC already has flashplayer you can wipe it using deinstall software and then find on the web the "flashplayer_32.0.0.371" version and install it.

But Microsoft plans to completely remove Flash from the system in the future ( -us/topic/update-for-the-removal-of-adobe-flash-player-october-27-2020-931521b9 -075a-ce54-b9af-ff3d5da047d5), so it is not known how long this solution will take.

I'm having a really bizarre problem with my home internet, specifically when I try to play flash games. The games load fine, but for some reason they disrupt the internet connection of every computer on my home network, specifically over port 80. All applications using other ports continue to function normally. Often I have to resort to rebooting the router in order to get port 80 working again.

Just setting up my brand new 4K Reolink NVR today.

Have the NVR all set up and running fine.

But of course I wish to be able to view and operate the NVR from my Windows 10 PC.

I typed in the IP Address and HTTP Port into my web browser, which brought up the Reolink Login page.

I logged in, and now it says I need "Flash" from Adobe. And has a adobe-flash icon in the middle of the screen to take me to the download page to get it.

But this download-icon does not work, and if I go to Adobe's website I can't find any official place to get the Flash player from.

So I'm stuck.

And they say, Flash is having no more security updates from end of this year anyway.

How do I get around this please?

Due to the amount of moving parts, playing games or using software that has Flash will drain your device battery significantly, which is a hassle since it's not good to constantly have your devices plugged into a charger will in use. If you have an iPhone, you won't be able to use anything that has Flash in it as none of the devices support it due to the repeated security issues and because it isn't really open sourced. Use of the software is more trouble than it is worth, and because of this, Adobe recently announced that it will end updates and distribution of the flash player at the end of 2020. The main reasons for the death of the software are that competitors are now lightyears ahead of Flash in terms of functionality and what is offered, and that plugins, in general, are dying out. HTML5 is becoming more and more widely used as it needs less processing power and doesn't require any plugins. Adobe went on to say that other big tech companies with products that once worked in conjunction with Flash, have come together and agreed to phase out the software altogether unless it is essential to the core of the technology.

Adobe Flash Player is dead in the water. It is outdated, not secure, and always seems to be at risk of being hacked. Software and games that use the flash player will soon have other programs that will take its place, if it hasn't happened already.

No, we do not recommend downloading Adobe Flash Player. Since Adobe announced that it will no longer be updating the flash player, there is no reason to continue to install older versions as there are safer, more secure, and better-performing options. Times have changed and software has far surpassed what Flash is capable of.

We have an administrator panel that was created with use of Adobe flash player technology. Source code is proprietary/closed. System cost huge amount of money so it won't be recreated with use of new technologies. 0852c4b9a8
