NWEA: How Catholic Schools Influence Growth
In this free webinar, NWEA will share findings based on MAP Growth data from both before and after the pandemic. Using student-level models, these findings offer clearer insight into how Catholic schools influence growth. Boston College professor Shaun Dougherty will share findings from national MAP Growth data, revealing how outcomes vary by race/ethnicity, subject, and location, plus what it all means for schools today.

What does innovation look like in your music classroom? What small steps can educators make to see big changes in their student’s musical learning? Join K–12 music educators from across the country to expand the impact of your work with young musicians. In this workshop, we will reinvigorate your creativity, explore Carnegie Hall’s Great Music Teaching Framework, and invest in your own artistry through participatory music making sessions.
This four-day workshop will take place in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. The registration fee for this workshop is $75. Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the participant. Travel stipends are available for qualifying individuals after acceptance into the workshop.

Science of Reading Fundamentals (Microcredential)
Dive into The Science of Reading with this self-paced and asynchronous online course, earning NYS teachers 35 CTLE hours upon completion! For a one-time fee of $50.00, P-12 teachers will delve into about the Five Pillars of Reading—Phonemic Awareness, Phonics (including alphabetic principle and orthography), fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
This course can be completed in as little as seven weeks or as long as six months. Interested teachers are urged to sign up through this link.
