Go to the bottom right corner of your page and click on the time to reveal the POWER button. Click it.
Do not just close your Chromebook. This puts it to sleep - it does not restart it.
It is recommended that you power down your chromebook at least once a week to receive all updates and extensions that are required for your computer to perform to the best of its ability.
Turn on teacher Chromebook and open Zoom.
In Zoom, select "Share Screen." On your Chromebook, go to the bottom right corner of your page and click on the time to reveal the SETTINGS icon, and click to open a new window.
In the SETTINGS window, scroll down to click DISPLAY.
Click "Mirror Built-in Display."
On your Chromebook, go to the bottom right corner of your page and click on the time to reveal the VOLUME. To the right of the volume is an arrow. Click it.
When the Volume settings open, you should see INPUT and OUTPUT.
Set the OUTPUT to HDMI, and match the HDMI number of the port you plugged into the SmartBoard.
Ensure the volume is turned on and unmuted for the both the Chromebook and SmartBoard.
Test by opening Zoom and beginning a call with participants. Participants should be audible through the SmartBoard speaker.
On your Chromebook, go to the bottom right corner of your page and click on the time to reveal the SETTINGS icon, and click to open a new window.
In the SETTINGS window, scroll down to click ADVANCED.
Find the section titled ACCESSIBILITY and click "Manage Accessibility."
Find "Keyboards and Text Input" to select "Enable On-Screen Keyboard"

Connect all wires to the three-port adapter (including the charger for the Chromebook) and make sure the other end of these wires are plugged into the Smartboard.
Note which HDMI port you've plugged into (1, 2, or 3).
Go to the board and click on INPUT (or HOME).
Select your HDMI (1, 2, or 3) that you've attached to your Chromebook.

Clip the microphone to a collar and connect the other end (audio out) of the microphone to the extension cable.
Insert the extension cable into the USB adapter, careful to select the microphone (not the headphone) port.
Open Zoom. Locate the microphone icon in the lower left screen corner, and click the upward arrow next to the icon.
Select "USB Audio Device Mic" from the list to enable this microphone.

Connect DC12V charger to document camera and plug into power outlet.
Open Zoom on your Chromebook.
Connect Aver document camera into your Chromebook, not the SmartBoard, with the USB mini cable.
In Zoom, find the video icon in the lower left screen, and click the upward arrow next to the icon.
Select "Aver USB Camera" as the camera.
