Adisak Seesanea, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
About me
I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2018, under the supervision of Professor Igor E. Verbitsky. Prior to joining SIIT in 2021, I was a Research Fellow at Hokkaido University (2018–2020), mentored by Professors Hiroaki Aikawa and Jun Masamune, and later a Postdoctoral Scholar at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) (2020–2021), under the mentorship of Professor Daniel Spector.
My research is in the areas of Analysis and Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). It focuses on investigating the existence, uniqueness, regularity properties, and pointwise estimates of solutions to linear and nonlinear elliptic PDEs. The techniques are usually based on developing and applying tools in Nonlinear Potential Theory and Harmonic Analysis. I also work on problems in Homogenization Theory and Dynamical Systems.
My Erdös number is 4.
