I am Suhas Adiga, a final-year M.S (Research) student at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, working under the guidance of Prof. Umesh V. Waghmare. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science from the University of Delhi.

My research interests lie at the intersection of materials science and machine learning, with a strong focus on the discovery of novel materials using data-driven approaches. Broadly, I am passionate about materials informatics, the development of innovative ML/DL techniques, and high-throughput computing for accelerating materials discovery. I am also keen to venture into the domain of battery materials.

Beyond lab, I enjoy playing badminton, and do plane spotting. While doing science always was my primary interest, I have dreamed to be a loco-pilot, pilot and and now, rather whimsically, a coffee-grower. 

I believe science should be open and accessible to everyone, and that sharing through open-source platforms encourages collaboration and learning.
