Athens Drive National Honor Society

Welcome to the Athens Drive National Honor Society website!

The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization in the United States that recognizes outstanding high school students. NHS serves to honor these students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. This is also a great way to get ready for the life after high school. There is access to the NHS Scholarship program, and service projects help members build teamwork skills, increase project management, make friends, and more.

How to get the most out of being an NHS member:

  • Participate in general meetings and come up with new ideas for service hours
  • Assume a leadership role in the chapter
  • Promote service and support projects
  • Welcome new members
  • Motivate others to get involved and engage in activities
  • Communicate effectively: Share ideas and information about chapter activities
  • Adhere to deadlines! Turn in hour sheets on time
