My main research is at the intersection between epistemology, ethics, and philosophy of mind. Much of it is on the nature of understanding and how it figures in our epistemic and moral lives.
I completed my MA in philosophy at Queen's University under the supervision of Elliot Samuel Paul, and my BA in philosophy at Carleton University, both in Canada. Before that, I was a medical student in the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University in Egypt.
Besides philosophy, I'm a high-performance Taekwondo athlete, a kitesurfer, a scuba diver, and member of the Clare Hall choir. I'm from the beautiful city of Alexandria, Egypt.
