BIOGRAPHY.

The daughter of nomadic shepherds, Lacramioara was 16 when, while traveling with the flock, she fell to what was almost certain to be a painful demise down the rocky mountain slopes. Found by happenstance by a noblewoman's caravan as she traveled between estates, Mioara had her injuries-- including a grievous head wound-- tended to, and in exchange, he swore his life to the Lady Erzsebat. Following this, she became her handmaiden; and the boyar, Erzebat's father, would take an interest in the new servant and strike up what she believed was a "secret relationship"

Discovered together nine years later, Lacramioara would take the fall for the adultery and sentenced to death. In holding, Mioara would speak with the monk Leopold, who begged her to recant and accept a lesser charge. Mioara, never one to regret, refused, saying he would rather die true to his affections than pretend to have never loved his Lord at all-- as love is surely the Godliest thing of all. Leopold was moved by her passion, but moved too-little too-late, attempting to pull her down from the stake once the fire was lit. Both succumbed to smoke inhalation-- but the Archangel Michael, ever-looking for warriors, found the dedication a worthwhile investment, beatifying them into exousiai. Now they hunt monsters and sinners alike for bounty-- paid out in God's Love.
