QUIRK. LANDMINE. Chitose can turn living and non-living items into explosives with a touch of her hand, and detonate them at will. There is no outward indication of this rigging, nor is there a time limit. While the explosions aren't particularly strong, she makes up for quality with quantity.

BIOGRAPHY.
Chitose was raised in a different era of quirks. Even as few as three decades before canon, perception of quirks was based largely in confusion and fear. When "landmine" manifested, it marked Chitose as one of many who would be forced into a repressed way of living and combined with her "off-putting" appearance, pushed her into the shadows of society. In this way, she relates a lot to Toga; parents who fear you, peers who despise you, and a warped sense of self.
It didn't help that this manifestation was a violent one; her family (and herself) unaware that mines had been building in number until her 6th birthday party, in which her mother trying to force her to interact with a relative she was averse to eventually led to a meltdown of catastrophic proportions, hospitalizing most people present, including herself.
After that, her upbringing was at an arm's length from anyone other than her brother, who was given the responsibility of negating her quirk whenever possible. She grew into a timid teen, not quite a pariah, but always avoiding the spotlight, despite her growing ambitions.
However, Chitose pushed through and entered a field unrelated to her quirk, ready to follow her passions. This passion would only be truly unlocked with her fateful meeting with Rikiya Yotsubashi, the head of Detnerat, who inducted her into his cult with very little persuasion.
Now, at the peak of her success, the revival festival left her severely wounded and seriously reconsidering the values she's stuck to for so many years...
