Presented at Defending the Gate, 23rd March, A.S. LIII (2019).
This coral branch is based off an early 17th Century image of a thimble maker. This scroll pushed me to work on a lot of new skills including portraiture, perspective, and a large painted area, all of which aren't as common in the earlier periods I typically gravitate to.
