Presented at Fall Crown Tournament, 06 November, A.S. LVI (2021).
This was the first scroll in which I did both the illumination and calligraphy. The scroll is based off a 15th Century Italian exemplar from the Pierpont Morgan Library. I picked it mostly for the incredible flowers found among this manuscript.

-FINALWORK-Gouache on pergamenta. Speedball black ink calligraphy using a steel nib pen.

The final illumination took approximately 11 hours and the calligraphy (due to lots of time spent practicing) was around 6 hours.
