The foundation currently awards three scholarships in Delaware County. Two are for nursing and one is for radiology technician students.
- The Eva Miller Nursing Scholarship Fund is named in memory of donor Gerald Miller’s mother. It provides two scholarships each year. The first goes to an RN student at Delaware County Community College who plans to earn a bachelor of nursing degree. The second provides a doctor of nursing student at Widener University with funds to cover his or her dissertation costs. In each case the schools select the students, with approval from the foundation.
- The Kevin Tighe Memorial Fund is named for a former radiology tech student who died suddenly. Each semester it covers the books and supplies for a radiology tech student in Widener/Crozer’s Allied Health Program. This scholarship receives the generous support of Kevin’s family and the Crozer-Keystone Health System’s radiologists, Southeast Radiology Ltd.
